Karate A to Z is an innovative program, developed by Master Tony Lerma, that teaches pre-school age children learning skills and principles through basic martial arts movements, assigned to the letters of the alphabet.  The Martial Arts traditionally were taught to monks, soldiers, and other highly disciplined adults.  Most of today's Martial Arts institutions maintain those traditions and use curriculum to reflect that heritage.

Karate A to Z was designed and developed specifically for the emotional and physical needs of young children.  It incorporates martial arts skills such as focus, coordination, and self control, using a child's own contextual awareness of the alphabet, positive reinforcement and self accountability.  The result is a reading readiness program that is fun and helps children of all ages develop visual and phonetic familiarity with the alphabet, as well as teach them vocabulary for social growth and invaluable life skills.

Classes are held 4 times a week:

Tuesday and Thursday: 10am - 11am; 2:15pm - 3:00pm

Recommended attendance is 2 classes per week.

Minimum age: 3 1/2 years.
