WHAT IS BLACK BELT TESTING?
As martial arts students progress in rank and experience, they receive darker belts. The black belt promotion is a culmination of many years of training and the completion of many students’ most challenging goal.
Difficulty and the expectations of instructors increase with each rank. Today our students are demonstrating very likely the most physically and mentally demanding trial of their lives. Keep in mind that the conditioning portion began this morning at 6am, and each student has run several miles, performed over a thousand push-ups and many other rigorous physical tests. During the spectator portion students will demonstrate their curriculum, sparring techniques, and board breaking.
WHO IS INVITED?
All ABK Students and their families and friends are invited and encouraged to come and observe this great event. We also welcome anyone living and visiting our community!
