Liu He Ba Fa style
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese Martial art, focused on health, rather than fighting, practiced daily by people all over the world. It is an art of gentleness, an art of how all things grow. All plants grow gently and continuously, once they stop growing they die. We all should grow until the end of our days. It is no secret that daily practice of Tai Chi – Chinese internal arts - offers a proven approach to lifelong dynamic health rooted in the cultivation of Qi. Some of the benefits of practice: lowering stress, improving balance, flexibility, circulation, concentration and mood.
The name Liu He Ba Fa means “Six Harmonies and Eight Methods”. Six Harmonies relates to the unification of the body, and the Eight Methods relate to practical applications.
Your teacher Yi Ting Li (pronounced “eating lee”) has practiced Tai Chi for more than two decades. She has taught lessons in Taiwan, Malaysia, Italy, East and West Coast of the United States.
Her student and Assistant instructor Seta Lerma has been studying with Mrs. Yi Ting since 2006.
1st Session: 8 weeks of class, September 19-November 14 (no class October 31),
16 classes, $240
Day / Time: Tuesday and Thursday, 1pm - 1:45pm
